I have two physicians in the same group who seen the patient on the same day, the first physician has billed a 99232, the second physician has billed a 99232-25 and added two new diagnoses.

My question is how do I bill this? I was thinking instead of modifier 25, I was going to use modifier 77. Please help with this.

same group

Since they are from the same group, if they are the same specialty, they are considered the same doctor and can only bill one visit. You can add the work together to get your level.
