My doctor just gave me a ticket for an ERCP and then told me another doctor had to make a hole (internally) in the stomach to allow my doctor the approach for the ERCP. I would think I would use the 62 modifier but a co-worker said because my doctor did the actual procedure and the other doctor did less she would use an 80??

I don't agree, but I've never been as polished with modifiers as I would like.

Please help the best you can.
