Pt requests Xanax to have MRI completed. She went twice and got claustrophobic.

Dx: Lipoma--pt has huge lipoma on neck. RX for Xanax given. Advised not to drive while taking it.

What's the best code for this visit? The reason for the visit is to get medication, not to have the lipoma assessed/treated, though the medication will allow for further workup of it...so is it therefore the correct code to use? I don't believe I can code claustrophobia if provider has not given that diagnosis.

As per the documentation the appropriate Dx seems to be Z76.89. If pt came for getting Rx again then Z76.0 code is suitable.
