Nephrology: If a patient has their dialysis at an outpatient unit, and the doctor doesn't see them at the unit when they are present. They see them at their office instead. How do you bill a 90962 place of service? The code requires the doctor to see the patient face-to-face. It is standard practice to see them at the unit, but is it required?
