Can someone help me find the Neuroma injection cpt code and diagnosis codes that should be billed related to it. Will medicare pay? The code I found is 64455. Does the doctor have to use ultrasound guidance.

It really depends on the documentation. The diagnosis is always the one the provider documents as the reason for the procedure. If you post the note then perhaps we can help with the codes.

this is a stump neuroma injection is 64455 the correct cpt code. Do you know if medicare accepts it?

I am going to say that 64455 is probably the incorrect code. You do not say which nerve is involved,as in where the stump is, i.e. above the knee, below the knee ect.; it will make a different. Your dx code will correspond to the type/location of neuroma.
