Wiki New to Billing- need someone to consult with PLEASE

Hi there,

I am recently certified CPC-A as of 12/12/15 but have been working for the same substance abuse treatment center for 4 years. We recently brought in billing to be done in house (myself and my coworker). We bill for Detox, RES, PHP, IOP, OP. We also are beginning to do psychiatric visit billing through a medical group.

I am having a hard time finding anyone to consult with in regards to legality of billing and what is considered part as of "un-bundling". Do you have any insight or anyone I can contact? We are willing to pay for any services that we receive as help with this! Please email me directly at-

I am also learning this PHP billing and it seems like its impossible to get a straight answer, have you had any luck? I know we un-bundle only medicare claims. Depending on the number of groups the patient attended. Feel free to email me directly nikkimalahan@yahoo.com
