Hi Fellow Coders,

I am assisting one of my friends with finding outpatient coders for an onsite position at a local hospital in Fayetteville, NC. I've listed a summary of the position below.


Summary of Position:
Under general supervision, reviews, analyzes and assures the final diagnoses and procedures as stated by the practicing providers are valid and complete. Accurately codes office and hospital procedures for providers to ensure proper reimbursement. Provides education to the providers to ensure proper completion of Electronic Health Records and proper assignment of ICD-10-CM, HCPCS and CPT codes.

Credentials Required: CPC or CCS-P

Require Years of Experience: 2 or more years
