How to code this scenario, Existing Dual PPM - Procedure scheduled upgrade to BIV ICD with LV insert.
Procedure performed was , removed PPM generator, examined RV and Atrial leads , Venography performed for insert of the LV lead due to occluded vein LV lead aborted. Existing Dual PPM generator with existing RV and Atrial leads placed back into the patient. Nothing New was implanted.
Coding performed in ASC setting.
Would these be the appropriate CPT codes :
36005, 75820 and 33225 with modifier 74? Unsure of what code to use for the Primary CPT since No Generator was replaced?
