a very large amount of old clotted blood was evacuated. a extensor tenosynovectomy was performed on all extensors. the wound was irrigated and debrided. two small silicone drains were placed.


i have 10140 for the evac of the hematoma, but i cannot find the code for the drain placement and also how do i code for all the tenosynovectomies?
is it possible to put a # of units on 26140?
