Wiki Polyp ICD

Hi,
Why there is no ICD for Esophagus polyp?

2019 ICD-10-CM Diagnosis Code D13.0
Benign neoplasm of esophagus

this is what i use because you're right there isn't one.
A neoplasm is a growth. A polyp is a growth. The two terms are synonymous up to a point. Usage generally depends on the context; polyps occur in a mucous membrane, eg. nasal polyps, colon polyps, or gastric polyps. Neoplasms are growths in any kind of tissue, although the term neoplasm implies abnormal tissue in uncontrolled growth.

A benign neoplasm of the esophagus is just a less specific term for a gastroesophageal polyp.

It's like all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares.
