Hi,
I have someone that isn't get full coverage for telehealth psychotherapy unless it is COVID related. How would I submit a claim letting them know the visits are due to stress of COVID. Is there a modifier for that?

I would ask the insurance company. Ask them to define, in writing, what "covid related" means. Can it mean the provider refuses to meet face-to-face with the client? Can it mean the client is too afraid to meet in person? Can it mean the person has something like an adjustment reaction with mixed anxious and depressed mood, which could be due to covid (but covid isn't specified in that diagnosis)?
