Hello -

Can someone help me determine what code should be used for an "injection into the radial sensory nerve" for pain of the elbow?

Don't you think it would be a code in the 644xx range since it's a "nerve"? I was thinking that due to the fact that 20605 says for joint or bursa. What are your thoughts?

I think Susan is onto something. I don't believe it should be coded as a joint injection. It's actually the nerve that's being treated (the nerve just happens to be located in the vacinity of the joint).
