Re: ICD 10 code for Hypernatremia

Good afternoon,

I need clarification if E87.0 is a billable code for hypernatremia or does it require a 5th digit for 2017.

Thanks,

If you look up ICD 10 GEMS on the CMS website you can get a list of all DX code changes, full index and Tabular sections as well.

Hi Danskangel and Codeking,

Thank you for your responses, I am including other ICD 10 codes as well primary N17.8 secondary N18.3 and tertiary E87.0. Also I will look up the ICD 10 GEMS on the CMS website to get the list of DX code changes. Greatly appreciate both of your assistance. Enjoy your day :)
