Our office bills for the technical and professional components 93294 and 93296 with the same DOS that our provider signs the interpretation. After reading the the description in the CPT codes my question is should we be billing with different DOS. Our providers sometimes read 2-3 days after the transmission is received and this will throw off the 90-91st day billing. How do other offices handle this billing?
