Hello,
I have been performing podiatry coding for office visits and any in office procedures performed for a while and am very comfortable with that. Recently my organization has included all inpatient and outpatient visits and surgeries (professional side services only) to my work load. I have never had any surgery coding experience other than in office procedures. I am really struggling with the surgical coding and I was wondering if anyone has the AAPC specialty book for Podiatry services, and if so did you find it helpful? Does anyone have any reviews on the Podiatry specialty coding book and/or e-book? Last year I ordered the Pulmonary Specialty book and I really did not find it helpful.
Also, if anyone can recommend any tools, good resources, webinars I can take to get a better knowledge of podiatry surgery coding. I would love any helpful suggestions and recommendations! Thank you!
