Diagnosis code for right incarcerated direct inguinal hernia. 550.91 but the procedure code for right inguinal herniorrhaphy with mesh graft is not adding up. With me not having an age specified it is making it hard to find the correct code. The add on code 49568 provides codes again with ages. Unless there is a default age to use when one is not given, I am struggling. Please help!:confused:
 
Hernia repair codes are age specific, we don't have a code with default age for hernia repair. Please ask for the details of the patient.
