I was told that modifiers LT AND RT CAN ONLY BE USED FOR PROCDURES.


IS THIS CORRECT?

FOR EXAMPLE IF I PERFORMED A PROCEDURE ON THE LEFT HEEL AND EVALUATE AND MANAGEMENT ON THE RIGHT HEEL.

SHOULD I BE ABLE TO BILL THE RIGHT HEEL WITH AN EM

Dee is correct LT,RT & 59 are not used with E&M codes. EMR is a a fun one to get set up. good luck
