This is a staged procedure: in a previous procedure, a groin flap had been performed on a crushing injury to the hand. The flap & hand was later released from the groin in another surgery. However, now he is going to separate the finger flaps to create fingers. I need to pre-authorize this procedure . Can anyone help me determine which CPT I should use to describe the separating of the finger flaps?
