If sepsis is documented as resolved in the A/P on a patient who is still in the hosptial and the patient is no longer on antibiotics for it would you still code it if it was the reason for admission?

Sepsis resolved with treatment, which does not mean that it should not be coded. Sepsis should be coded as it is present on admission and treatment done for that.

Resolved sepsis

No, you should not code the sepsis for that date of service as it was resolved. If the patient is still 'in house' there must be another condition to keep them in the hospital. I'd query the physician if no new diagnosis is given.
