There’s a patient who received an SIS saline infusion sonohysterography, pelvic US and transvaginal US. Would you include three distinct CPT codes for this: 76830, 76831, 76856? I found a few websites that say only to record CPT 76831 for the SIS because the other USs are included already in that code. But the CPT code book itself doesn’t have a thorough description of when the codes should or should not be used together. Any thoughts would be very welcome!
