Are the supervising doctor's fees affected when you have an assistant sugeon with an 80 mod?

What do you mean by "supervising doctor"?

When an assistant surgeon is present (and when the CPT code allows for an assist to be billed) - you code the appropriate CPT codes for the primary surgeon. You use the exact same codes with appropriate assistant surgeon modifier for the assistant surgeon.
