I need some help locating a dx code for a lump from an old suture...some type of suture reaction. That is all the information I was given. Thanks.

hmm..is it a retained foreign body? (old suture) are they going to take it out?
729.6 - residual foreign body in soft tissue or 709.4 foreign body granuloma of skin and subcutaneous tissue, look good to me. OR - your basic lump in the skin 782.2 localized superficial swelling, mass or lump.
personally, I believe it's a retained suture and would go with 729.6
