Anyone have difficulties getting 64488 paid by Amerihealth, used for post operative pain with modifier 59? Thank you

If the anesthesia method was General, the procedure is billable with diagnosis code G89.18.

If the anesthesia method was MAC, the block is not separately billable, as the anesthesia method is considered Regional in this scenario.

If the block is documented correctly, you will need to appeal.
