wow, i seem to have a lot of questions lately...:confused:


example:

resident/fellow see patient on 20th to admit

attending sees patient for the first time on the 21st


if the attending writes a linking statement to the residents note (w/in 24 hrs_)from the 20th, can this be used as the admit note for the 21st for the attending physician?
 
Yes. Attending should link to the resident's note along with his own documentation of salient features.
