We have a psychologist who provides behavioral health medication services in conjunction with their chronic disease management. She only bills a 99202-99215 and no additional therapy codes.
This provider has started to provide interactive video telehealth services. Would you code the audio-video telehealth codes 98000-98007? Or code the normal E/M with a modifier 95? Both with the place of service as 02 or 10.
Not getting clear answers from research. Yes, behavioral health is included in 98000-98007, and if it were being billed with the behavioral health add-on code, then would be left as the E/M and the add-on with Mod 95.
How are other facilities coding this? Any additional resources or links would be extremely helpful!
