We have some conflicting opinions on this is our office due to different information each coder got at separate workshops. How to bill a revision of THA with femoral head and acetabular liner exchange. I have an AAOS bulletin from 10/05 that says 27134 w/52 mod. One coder says bill w/a 52 and one says the liner counts as a component so dont bill with the 52.
Does anyone have any current/different info or opinions?
