We are moving forward with a new program called Healthaware and will be scheduling patients for heart screenings and would like to know what level of service should we charge for the following services that will be performed by our Nurse Practitioners. The visit will include weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, BMI, pulse oximetry, nutrition and exercise counseling, and establishing healthy goals. There will be a flat fee charged for this service but we would like to know what E&M level it would be. Also, can Nurse Practitioners see new patients in the clinics? Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Your level of service will be determined by different factors....new pt or established Pt and the criteria met for the Hx, exam and MDM or it can be based on time; new or est pt.

Hope this helps,
