I just completed the Practicode module which removed the "A" from my CPC certification! I am now looking for a remote job, and would like recommendations on what type of computer are other remote coders using? I was told by AAPC to have at least Intel Core i5 or i7. I would GREATLY appreciate any recommendations on which laptops are the best to use before I spend a lot of money! Thank you very much!

You probably should wait to see what system requirements your employer expects, rather than to purchase something that might not be acceptable. Overall, it's the speed of the connectivity and firewall protection that most remote companies are most concerned about.

I agree with other replies. But, if you find that you have to purchase the computer & you want it to be a laptop - I would make sure it has the 10 key keyboard. Some laptops don't have it. Just my opinion.
Congrats!
