Hello all! Just wondering if there is any way to collect revenue (Work Comp patient) when the physician must spend time with the case manager during/immediately following patient examination?

We try to schedule additional time for these visits when knowing in advance, but, we aren't always aware until case mgr shows up. How do other offices handle these situations? THANKS for any and all advice!!!!

THERE ARE TWO CPT CODES THAT WE USE 99361 FOR 30 MINUTES AND 99362 FOR 60 MINUTES. WE HAVE NEVER USED THE 60 MINUTE CODE; BUT THE 30 MINUTE CODE IS RECOGNIZED AND PAID BY COMP. WE BILL THE APPROPRIATE E&M LEVEL AND THE NURSE CPT CODE.
