I am a physician office coder wondering if you can bill for pre and post reduction xrays done in office. Pt came into the clinic and had a 3view Lt wrist - the physician then manipulated his fracture with finger traps and placed him in a Munster Cast. After the reduction the physician ordered a 2 view of wrist to confirm fracture alignment. My question is .... can I bill for both sets of xrays or would I just bill 73110 once? I am billing for the procedure done in office and not the cast application so my codes would be 25605 + the xray code(s) please help! thank you :)
