Doctor did an arthroscopic reconstruction of a failed ACL reconstruction and the preoperative DX included anterior tibial cortical defect which was caused by a tibial screw placed during the initial reconstruction. During the second reconstruction, the doctor placed a cancellous allograft bone dowel into the defect. Would this be included in the reconstruction and just charge for the bone dowel or an unlisted procedure? Any opinions and/or previous experience with this would be appreciated.
