Hello. I am new to billing for Behavioral Health and I want to make sure I'm doing so correctly. Any help to lead me in the right direction is appreciated so, thank you in advance!
I have a therapist that sent me a message for me to bill "Case Management via Telephone" for a patient. When reading her notes, I'm not quite sure if I should bill this. Here are her notes with pt and any detailed information restricted.
** "Therapist called (Pt) to follow up on her referral to (XYZ) for IOP services. Therapist left voicemail providing (XYZ;s) address and phone number as well as update on the fact they have openings for the "services discussed in session." "
