I am taking my initial CPC cert exam soon and I do not know what manuals to use for 2015 or 2016 editions? ICD-9 or ICD-10? I am new to this arena and understand that the ICD-10 is now in place of the ICD-9 correct? Thanks in advance.

You may want to avoid the AAPC 2016 ICD-10-CM some posts on here with people missing dozens of pages.

2015 ICD-10-CM book is still extremely reliable for the test as there are few if any changes due to the code freeze. It should be a lot cheaper than a 2016 version.

CPT you wil need 2016 as a definite. Do not try to test with a 2015 CPT unless you want to guarantee a 40-50% score (if that)

I was trying to find the posts that talked about the missing pages in the 2016 AAPC ICD-10-CM? I am waiting for my AAPC ICD-10-CM 2016. My exam is on the 5th of March and wanted to read the posts. This is my third time and hopefully third time is the charm:)
