Wiki having trouble with a code

This patient was burned by hot grease in thier kitchen. They went to a wound clinic for large dressing changes on both upper extremities following second degree burns to both arms. When i looked for a v code I used one for the wound changing would this be right? My Cpt codes were also for wound changing like 15852 or 16025. Is this accurate? My V code was V58.30.
Thanks,

The diagnosis code looks ok, however, be careful of using 15852, the descriptor for this code specifically states "not for burns" and it is a dressing change done under anesthesia (not local- it would be IVS or general, block, etc).

Ideally the note would indicate the total % of body area involved so you could do a more accurate job of coding it -16020 or 16025. Hopefully they mentioned some sort of debridement along with the dressing change, however, that is not absoutely necessary. I hope this was helpful for you.
