We resently were consulted on patients who were evacuated from a louisiana hospital to our hospital. these patients have all undergone surgery for total's, fractures and such. i am using the appropriate diagnosis codes for follow-up, pain, infecttion but i was curious if anyone knew of a V or E code out there that we could use showing they were transferes from another facility to ours....i have searched and searched, maybe there is not one but you would think there would be. Any suggestions would be of great help!

I've looked for you too and can not seem to find one. I found only the E code that is to be used if the accident was caused by (I used hurricane..assumingly of course).
