Is there a CPT code for the collection of a specimen (i.e. throat culture, urine culture, wound culture, etc.) in a physician office that is then sent to the lab for analysis?

Hi there, I recently received a question about this. Code 99000 (Handling and/or conveyance of specimen for transfer from the office to a laboratory) is appropriate when the specimen goes to an outside lab. However, I could not find a payer that covers it.
