Hi im new to coding for orthopedic and they are billed J2201 (lidocaine) they of course are not getting paid, should this not be reported or don't bother,

That is a code for IV lidocaine not IM so the question is how is it being administered. If these are injections then it is not reported as there is no code for lidocaine as an injectable.
Correct. As I stated if you look at your HCPC II book you will see that the J2201 is a code for IV use. It is incorrect to use this code for lidocain given in an injection. Hopefully they have not been billing this out to the patient then.
