I am being told that when an MRI Hand with and without contrast is done, we should be billing 73220 but when a MRI hand Bilateral is done for rheumatology purposes we should be billing 73223. I am conflicted because why would we bill it as a joint only when done bilaterally? How are other places billing these out?
