I am a newly certified CPC-A actively seeking employment. I recently completed 384 hours of academic coursework through Wake Technical Community College, which the AAPC has officially approved for a 1-year experience waiver. I am now halfway to dropping my "A" and am eager to join a healthcare team!
While I am new to the clinical side, I have a BA in Philosophy, which provided me with the advanced logic and critical thinking skills required to navigate complex coding guidelines. I also have a strong professional background in high-volume, independent remote legal transcription. I am already highly accustomed to working autonomously, meeting strict deadlines, and maintaining extreme data confidentiality.
Because of my background, I am strictly looking for 100% remote, non-phone roles. I am actively seeking traditional medical coding positions, as well as related roles that heavily utilize coding logic, such as claims adjudication, risk adjustment, or auditing.
