We saw a patient who was in the ER where they reduced his radius. When he came into our office the radius was still displaced. The dr had to do a post reduction. Is this billed separately or part of the fracture care?
thanks :-)

Assuming this is a fracture that has not been seen by your provider before...

You would bill the closed reduction with manipulation, as well as the NP E&M service with modifier 57. This is due to the fact the manipulation has a 90 day global period.
