Wiki Radius & Ulna Shaft Fractures

Doctor did a closed reduction of radius and ulna shaft fxs then placed k-wires percutaneously in multiple planes. I was thinking 25565 with 20692 but the k-wires were not attached to an external fixation device, just bent over and capped. Responses would be appreciated.

You can use 20650 for insertion of k-wire; 20692 code specially mentioned about Multiplane external fixation system.

double check the documentation to make sure that the word "incision" is no where to be found. If not then I would use the 25565 w/20650. K wires are not considered external fixation therefore the 20692 would not work for this scenario.
