Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Home Health Quality Assurance (QA) and ICD-10 Coding Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position that offers flexibility based on our current patient volume.The ideal candidate will ensure absolute accuracy in clinical documentation, compliance with Medicare guidelines, and seamless billing submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive ICD-10 coding for home health claims.
- Review and audit OASIS assessments, Plans of Care (POC), and nursing/therapy visit notes to ensure clinical consistency and compliance.
- Manage and execute pre-claim transmissions to Palmetto GBA.
- Utilize iGea home health software to manage QA workflows and transmissions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Home Health QA and ICD-10 coding.
- Proficiency with iGea software is highly preferred.
- Strong familiarity with Palmetto GBA submission processes and Medicare regulations.
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently from home.
Job Details & Compensation:
- Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Location: Remote (Work from Home)
- Volume: Currently averaging approximately 50 patients per month.
- Compensation: Pay-per-patient model, ranging from $110 to $150 per patient, highly dependent upon experience and quality of work.
