Turn Codify into your personal knowledge hub
Codify by AAPC is an online code search and lookup resource with many tools, add-ons, and extras to make it not only fully customizable but also expandable.
Codify add-ons, for example, include Revenue Cycle Insider, CPT® Assistant, CPT® Vignettes, CPT® Knowledge Base,0 ICD-10 Coding Clinic, and others.
It’s easy to customize Codify with any of these subscription-based resources* and even easier to keep track of your favorite articles.
Create a favorite articles list
When you come across an article within Codify that you would like to refer back to easily, simply click the heart icon, located under the headline, to add the article to your Favorite Articles list (Figure 1).

In the resulting dialog box (Figure 2), you can enter a note about the article and click Save, or just click Close. The article is automatically added to your Favorites List as soon as you click the heart icon; you do not need to add a note.

The heart icon is solid when an article has been saved to the Favorites List. To remove the article from your list, simply click on the heart icon and click OK in the pop-up message.
Access, organize, and manage saved content
To access your favorite articles, choose Favorite Articles from the My Codify drop-down menu. A list of all your favorite articles will display with any notes you added (Figure 3). From here, you can search, sort, view, and remove saved articles. You can also add, edit, or delete associated notes.

Highlight what matters most
In addition to adding notes associated with favorite articles, you can call attention to specific text by highlighting it. Highlighting text also automatically adds the article to your Favorite Articles list.
To highlight text in an article from within Codify, click and drag over the text and then click Save Highlight (Figure 4).

To remove the highlighting, simply click on the highlighted text and then click Remove Highlight. The article will remain in your Favorite Articles list until you remove it.
