When you're ready to take your certification exam, you have the option to do it from the comfort of your home with a live remote proctor. To help you have a successful experience, we recommend that you review all the information and watch the helpful videos included in your exam confirmation email. Here's what you can expect on exam day. At the time of your exam, you'll log in and check-in with your live remote proctor. They're there to make sure the exam runs smoothly and securely.

First, you'll need to show a valid government issued photo ID, like a driver's license or passport.

Next, you'll need an external webcam with a six foot cord so the proctor can monitor your exam environment.

They'll ask you to show your surroundings, checking that your workspace is clear, windows are covered, and you're in a private room with a door, like a home office.

Your desk should only have your computer, a clear water bottle, and if required for your exam, your coding books. Just remember, they need to be current or no more than one year old. Once the proctor completes the checklist, you'll be ready to begin. If you need a break during the exam, just let the proctor know.

They'll confirm when it's okay for you to step away. Remember, feeling a little nervous is totally normal. Just take a deep breath and trust in all the hard work you've put in. You've got this.
