Hi, I'm Heather from AAPC.
When registering for your exam, you can select the testing center closest to you. A great choice if you prefer a quiet distraction free environment.
Now, let's make sure you have everything you need to be fully prepared.
When you arrive at the testing center, you'll need to present a valid government issued photo ID like a driver's license or passport.
Make sure the name on your ID matches exactly with the name on your exam registration.
Don't forget to bring a printout of your test confirmation. This will also include the rules specific to your testing center, so be sure to read through them before you arrive.
At the center, you'll get a locker or cubby for your personal items like your wallet, phone, and keys. If your exam allows, you can bring your coding books with you, but remember, they must be from the current year or the year prior.
Finally, remember that it's perfectly normal to feel nervous before exams. Just take a deep breath, trust your preparation, and remember, you've got this.
