This 60-minute webinar will review office-based GYN procedures, reimbursement parameters for preventive care under Medicare and Well visits for private patients. The session will cover applicable CPT®, ICD 10 CM and HCPCS codes for diagnostic, and small surgical procedures including supplies and medications.

Supplies and medications used in an office to provide patient care for e.g. IUD placement, diagnostic procedures for bladder and uterine prolapse, LEEP, pessary placement, collection and processing of PAP smears, and hormone injections account for significant up front costs to do business. Capturing the distribution and reimbursement timely and appropriately is imperative to any practices’ financial health.

• An in-depth description of small office procedures by CPT®/HCPCS code
• A thorough review of Medicare preventive care guidelines and gyn services
• A thorough review of well woman care for non-Medicare patients and associated coding

Her career includes having her own consulting business, working for a large University Medical Centers, Medicaid, and as a Medicare specialist for the country’s largest private third party payer. She is a 2 time past Local Chapter president, national advisory board member and previously worked for AAPC as VP of Education. Nancy is currently the Director of Coding for Robin Healthcare.
