Yes, AAPC will award CEUs for employee-to-employee trainings (must be on the same taxable payroll). An in-service application requires a nominal $25 service fee. You may submit one application for regularly scheduled events (such as a monthly Lunch & Learn) and request a block approval to divide up the application to receive one index number for each title/event. Each block application caps at 24 CEUs and does not include a specialty award. This type of approval is ONLY approved for In-service applications as a business courtesy to our vendors! If your company does not do regularly scheduled educational events, you may submit applications for each separate education as it occurs. Specialties are awarded to regular in-service applications that provide adequate support information. A time-lined agenda is required for education that is longer than 2 hours.
