In this webinar we will touch on all the care management codes. This focuses on the different types of care management and implementing these programs/codes to improve patient care. These codes include focusing on patient-centered strategies, will include practical examples and best practices. The presentation will discuss the difference between chronic care management, complex chronic care management, principal care management, and the ever-elusive transitional care management.

Documentation requirements for each type of care will be discussed. The webinar will cover the difference between the care management CPT® codes and the HCPCS codes for Advanced Primary Care Management and when it is appropriate to bill. It will also cover who can bill for the above services.

Her expertise spans various facets of medical billing and coding, including ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding systems, denial management, and revenue cycle optimization.
In addition to her practical experience, Crystal is a recognized leader in medical coding education. As an AAPC Approved Instructor and Subject Matter Expert, she is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and skills of future coding professionals.
Crystal's commitment to education extends beyond her professional roles. She has been nominated as one of Hall County’s best medical educators and actively contributes to the AAPC community.
