Stephani has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry working closely with physicians and staff in Health Information Management. She has worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, long-term care, large multi-specialty physician practice, and EHR software design and development. Scott was a part owner of a consulting company for many years providing services in best practices for physician practice management services including coding and documentation audits, compliance, and revenue cycle management. She has extensive experience in inpatient and outpatient auditing and coding compliance. Throughout her career, Scott has enjoyed teaching E/M coding, compliance, and EMR utilization to many physicians and staff locally and nationally.
Raemarie has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She is a nationally recognized speaker and thought leader in the business of healthcare. She serves as a coding liaison to the AMA CPT® Editorial Panel. Over the past 15 years at AAPC, Jimenez has held a variety of responsibilities including leading the development of certification exams and exam preparation materials, overseeing the operations for exams, and distance learning and education licensing program departments. As AAPC’s Chief Product Officer, she oversees all AAPC product lines.
Lori has 20 years of experience working in the business side of medicine. She began her career in patient accounts and then moved into billing and coding for a multi-specialty clinic. She was eventually promoted to billing supervisor and then to compliance officer, where she wrote, maintained, and trained employees and providers on fraud and abuse. In 2015, Cox received her MBA from Quincy University in Quincy, Ill. She has traveled the country educating coders and physicians on complex coding topics such as hem/onc and E/M guidelines. Cox is the member relations officer for AAPC's National Advisory Board, an active member of her AAPC local chapter, and regional director for AAPC Services.
