Thanks for joining us today on that latest episode of Coder Cribs. My name is Janine Mothershed. I am the founder and president of Coding Clarify. I just thought I would start off in the coolest area, which is the chill area. I come out here and just reflect. I love this view. How could you not? It brings peace to my soul. A lot of times I'm wrapped up in the moment and go, go, go, go, go. So just being able to come out here and breathe the fresh air and hear the silence and feel the moment is super important.
So one thing I can say is hard work does pay off, dreams do come true, and dream big because you can make it happen. Alright. You wanna go inside and see the office where all the magic happens? So this is where I sit. This is actually a sit-stand desk, which I feel like is very important, especially in a remote environment. You're sitting here for a long time, and it's just nice to be able to stand and have it raise up and just work up here. It's also important to have a really nice chair. I would secure for hours a day, and I would be like, I hold back pain. I don't know why. Well, it's because I didn't have good support. And this has good support for me. It's the La Z Boy Chair. I got it at Costco.
But this part is, like, the key that I really like. I got a pink computer because I love pink. And this is a little notepad. It has medical coder life on it. This is a really cool gadget. It is a monitor that I can use when I'm out and about. Like, if I just have my laptop or if I'm here on my computer and I just want, like, an extra screen. Here we go. And these are actually I've been through some headphones. They are more on the occipital side, but they have noise cancellation, and it's a lifesaver. So they come in different colors. This is office stuff.
This stool is one of my favorite things. I think it's also very important. It's not trendy. It's a little old, but to have something to put your feet up on when you are sitting for, you know, eight plus hours a day, certainly amazing just to have that stool. Get one and, thank him for labor. Okay?
I have a little mini fridge in here. I spend lots of time, like I said, so it's very important that you keep up on your nutrition. These protein bars are some of my faves. So, again, if I'm just, like, busy and my fridge is in a school, grab these for some energy. Alright. Just some fruit. Raspberries, blueberries, salad, oranges, apple, yogurt, cottage cheese, water again. Good stuff.
Hey. Confession. What is the oldest year coding book you have in your closets? And can you guess mine that I have in mine? I wish I would have had, like, my original set because I would totally keep them. Like, just everything that I've been through and the journey. Right? So if you have your original set, keep them. Just the original set. But, anyway, I don't have my original set, but two thousand and sixteen. And these are I am gonna keep. They're going into the portfolio, like, with the kids memorabilia stuff, like, with the school that they you know, the school stuff that you guys all have, and you put them in the totes. These are going in there. And I'll save them forever, and I hope I hope that I'll make it save them too.
This is actually a really fun picture here if you look at it. It's my grandpa who's no longer with us anymore, but this is my sister, and she's now a coder. This is my other sister, and she's now a coder. These two are actually managers at, different offices. That's me. And my cousin, she was a paramedic, and then she became a coder too. So fun times. This is my little daughter. And thanks for coming today to the Coding Cribs. And we thank you for watching, and hope you have a wonderful rest of your day. Bye bye.
